'Keith Town Station,' watercolour, 39 x 27 cm.
Keith Town used to be a main station until the line - and station - were demolished in the late 1960s as part of the national reduction of the railways. It has been painstakingly rebuit by volunteers of the Keith and Dufftown Heritage Railway and is immaculate! I will leave those more knowledgeable to describe the locomotive - the 'Spirit of Speyside!'. The Parish Church of Keith, St Rufus', stands on the hill above the station.
The original painting is now sold.
