A P8 aircraft of the Royal Air Force lands at its home base at Lossiemouth in northern Scotland. The P8 Poseidon is a technically advanced maritime patrol and anti-submarine aircraft, flown by many nations across the world; the RAF's fleet is based here along with Typhoon fighters; they will shortly be joined by the E7 Wedgetail AEW aircraft either later this year or in 2026.
Here, we watch as PA 808 (unofficially called 'Bob'), lands on runway 23, approaching over the fairways of Moray Golf Course, the clubhouse of which can be seen in the distance below the aircraft's left hand air intake. The Moray Firth can be seen in the background.
