'Loch na Bo', 40 x 28 cm approx.
This beautiful little loch is actually man-made; the dam which controls its size forms part of the gorgeous walk around the loch. It is a haven for wildlife, the most obvious being the waterbirds, including swans, which are always present. But water bats and mink are also here - though much harder to see! Loch na Bo house is surrounded by absolutely beautiful countryside and I hope this view captures the essence of the scene. It is one of our favourite short walks and this painting is a result of such a lot of inspiration!
