'Another Straspiration', watercolour, 54 x 35 cm.
The first P8-A Poseidon to be delivered, PA 801, flies along the runway at RAF Lossiemouth with a Typhoon fighter of No 9 Squadron; the Lossiemouth Lighthouse at Covesea is in the background. The painting celebrates the reconstruction works undertaken at the airfield in preparation for the future of the base and the aircraft forces based there. They're the first diggers I've painted! The title is personal to the commissioner; I painted the painting under the working title of 'Building for the Future'.
The painting was sold by commission.
