'Low Tide at Hopeman', watercolour, 55 x 35 cm.
A view of the pretty coastal village and harbour of Hopeman on the Moray Firth in northern Scotland. This is the scene at low tide; the black and white pillars serve as anchors for the floating harbour, which rises up and down the pillars as the tide ebbs and flows. The boats are fairly true to life, though not always in their normal positions! The skiff at left is owned by Gordonstoun School, which is located only a couple of miles away near Duffus.
The original painting is sold by commission.
