'Pride of Moray', watercolour, 74 x 48 cm.
Two of the Royal Air Force's new P8-A Poseidon aircraft ('The Pride of Moray' and 'Terence Bulloch DSO* DFC*' fly over RAF Lossiemouth in northern Scotland. Visible below the aircraft are all the building and resurfacing work that has been necessary to accommodate the new aircraft, including the huge new Strategic Facility just below the nose of the nearest aircraft. All 9 of the RAF's fleet of P8 aircraft are visible in this image. The base is indeed the 'Pride of Moray'.
The original painting was sold by commission.
