'Ketches Unloading at Hopeman'
This painting takes us back in time to around the turn of the 20th Century. Two ketches are unloading their cargo in Hopeman harbour at the break of day, to be ready to sail again as the tide rises later. I love doing paintings like this, where I can combine research with imagination to reconstruct times gone by. This harbour is now home to leisure craft and very small fishing and lobster vessels. The building at right is now the Harbour Gallery, where our prints are available!
Prints are available in two sizes:
Small: Image 25 x 15cm, £17 unmounted or £20 mounted to fit a 14 x 11" off-the-shelf frame.
