How to Buy Our Work
Original work, print or commission?

Whichever or these you would like, please just drop us an email to rwwatercolours@gmail.com . To make it simple you can use our contact form on the 'Contact Us' page if you'd like. We will be delighted to confirm a delivery method and price with you for finished works and prints, or to discuss your commission requirements whether they are just an idea or a detailed brief. Just drop us a line and we'll take it from there!

Prints

Our prints are available from us direct through the website or here at our home studio, and are also available at a wide variety of shops from Hopeman to Banff. They are always sold at the same prices, regardless of where you buy them, and they are priced at £20 for a mounted print ready to fit a 14x11" frame, £30 for a mounted print ready to fit a 20x16" frame or £39 for a limited edition print ready to fit a 20x16" frame. The frames themselves are available from us, too, at £15 for a 14x11" frame and £25 for a 20x16" frame. If you'd like us to do the framing for you, then the prices, ready to hang, are £38 for the small, £58 for the large and £65 for a limited edition print. See our page on framed prints for more details and photos! Please note that we are not able to post framed work, so framed prints are available from us only locally.

Some rough guides on prices for commissions!

The prices of commissioned work can vary; very detailed projects, or those that require a lot of travel, for example, might be more than these guidelines. However, assuming you're after a landscape reasonably local to us in Fochabers, with a similar level of detail to that of Rob's normal work, these prices will give you an idea. The first price is the smallest work I do, the last the biggest. All the prices are mounted, but not framed, so please remember to factor framing costs in. There will also be a courier cost for delivery - it's about £18 for the medium size to the UK, and we'll give you an accurate quote for your project when you contact us. So, prices: Small - image size about 39 x 27 cm: £120. Medium, image size about 55 x 35 cm: £170. Large size, size about 74 x 52 cm: £250. There are no extras - this price and the delivery price will be added together when you contact us and that's the total price.

How do I pay?

We can accept payment by bank transfer (preferred) or Paypal - or of course cash will be fine if you pick up from us direct. If paying by bank transfer, we will send you details for the payment when you enquire about a work. If you prefer to pay by Paypal, we can also invoice you via email which will allow you to pay by card. We can also accept cheques, but please note that the painting or print can not be sent until the cheque has cleared.

Delivery methods

Original paintings will be delivered by DHL Courier to ensure they get to you in perfect condition. Rob doesn't deliver framed work because of the risk of damage during transit; his original works will be delivered mounted in acid-free mount board ready for framing and wrapped in a cellophane wrapper inside the packaging. DHL delivery to a UK address, for example, is currently around £17 but we mail worldwide; please e-mail us for a delivered price wherever you are.
The prints are delivered either rolled into an 8 cm cardboard tube and protected by acid-free tissue, or mounted, wrapped in cellophane and parcelled up between cardboard sheets. Delivery is via normal mail and the cost is commensurately lower: £4 - 6 to the UK (depending on size) and roughly twice that to the USA or Australia - although please note that delivery of prints outside the UK is in a tube only. Again, we will let you know the delivered price when you contact us.
