How to Buy Our Work
Original work, print or commission?
Whichever or these you would like, please just contact us. We will be delighted to confirm a delivery method and price with you for finished works and prints, or to discuss your commission requirements whether they are just an idea or a detailed brief. Just drop us a line and we'll take it from there!
Prints
Our prints are available from us direct through the website or here at our home studio, and are also available at a wide variety of shops from Hopeman to Banff along the coast. They are always sold at the same prices, regardless of where you buy them, and they are priced at:
£20 for a mounted print ready to fit a 14x11" frame.
£30 for a mounted print ready to fit a 20x16" frame.
£39 for a limited edition print ready to fit a 20x16" frame.
£45 for a mounted print ready to fit a 70 x 50 cm frame.
£54 for a limited edition print ready to fit a 70 x 50 cm frame.
The frames themselves are available from us, too, in our small and medium sizes at £9 for an 8x6" frame, £16 for a 14x11" frame, £26 for a 20x16" frame and £45 for a 70 x 50 cm frame. If you'd like us to do the framing for you, then the prices, ready to hang, are £17 for the mini, £36 for the small, £56 for the medium and £65 for a medium limited edition print. Please note that we are not able to post framed work, so framed prints are available from us only locally.
Some rough guides on prices for commissions!
Please note that the demand for commissioned work is very high at the moment and we currently have a waiting list of just over a year for commissioned work to be completed. If that is acceptable for you then our advice is to get on to the list by booking a commission slot which will then be guaranteed for you. We can work out the details of what you would like and sizing etc later!
The prices of commissioned work can vary; very detailed projects, or those that require a lot of travel, for example, might be more than these guidelines. However, assuming you're after a landscape reasonably local to us in Fochabers, with a similar level of detail to that of Rob's normal work, these prices will give you an idea. The first price is the smallest work I do, the last the biggest. All the prices are mounted, but not framed, so please remember to factor framing costs in. There will also be a courier cost for delivery - it's about £18 for any of the sizes to any UK address, and we'll give you an accurate quote for your project when you contact us. So, prices: Small - image size about 39 x 27 cm: £170. Medium, image size about 55 x 35 cm: £240. Large size, size about 74 x 52 cm: £350. There are no extras - this price and the delivery price will be added together when you contact us and that's the total price. (There is no customs duty to pay on either prints or paintings when shipping internationally. (Please note that we cannot trade with, or ship to, EU destinations due to consumer law restrictions).
If you are close enough to us in Mosstodloch to collect your work from us, then if you wish we can also frame your commission for you if you have ordered our small or medium sizes above (the large size requires custom framing). Framing is an additional £26 for the 20 x 16" size and £40 for the 70 x 50 cm size. You can see our frames on this page. Please note that framing is available for collections only. Due to the probability of breakage in transit, framing is not available for orders that require shipping and these orders can only be sent mounted but unframed.
How do I pay?
We can accept payment by bank transfer (preferred) or via our card and online retailing services Sumup (UK) and Paypal for international payments - or of course cash or card will be fine if you pick up from us direct. If paying by bank transfer, we will send you details for the payment when you enquire about a work. If you prefer to pay by Sumup or Paypal, we can invoice you via email which will allow you to pay by card. We can also accept cheques, but please note that the painting or print can not be sent until the cheque has cleared.
