'Rainbow and Cerigo at their Moorings', watercolour, 58 x 37 cm.
This is a painting of two yachts: Rainbow is both in the foreground and at right, under sail, whilst Cerigo is moored at left. The painting shows Findhorn Bay: the entrance to the bay is at right, and the background shows the edge of Culbin Forest, a place where we regularly walk. As a tidal bay, the water is subject to strong currents, which are hinted at around the mooring buoys.
The painting was sold by commission.
