'The Wooden Bridge, Lossiemouth', watercolour, 26 x 18 cm.
Here is the iconic wooden footbridge at Lossiemouth that crosses the River Lossie from Seatown, giving the only (dry) access to East Beach! The tide is pretty low here, so the bridge is quite high over the water. The bridge, which is now over 100 years old, is much closer to the water at high tide. It's a lot of fun crossing the bridge and looking down through the deep, clear water to the river bed - although my dog doesn't agree!
This original painting is now sold.
