'Nairn Harbour Sunset', watercolour, 54 x 34 cm.
The entrance to the harbour at Nairn on the Moray Firth, at sunset. Here we're looking roughly north-west and the opposite coast of the Firth is visible, with some of the mountains of Sutherland peeking through the haze behind. The weather can be rough in the firth, but it's amazing how often it is also almost a flat calm, and dolphins can often be seen in these waters.
The original painting is sold.
