​'Primrose Bay Sunset', watercolour, 52 x 34 cm.

This gorgeous little cover is close to Hopeman on the Jurassic red sandstone coast of the Moray Forth in northern Scotland. You can probably guess how it got its name but here we're right on the beach looking into the evening sun across the bright wet sand. I'll be back to paint this little bay again, and maybe include some primroses next time!
