'At Sandwood Bay', watercolour, 39 x 27 cm.
In the far northwest of Scotland, just a little south of Cape Wrath which forms the top left corner of mainland Scotland, lies Sandwood Bay. Unlike most of the UK, there are no roads here; you have to walk in. The beach faces the Atlantic, which gives some big seas along this empty and starkly beautiful beach.
The original painting was a personal commission, and actually goes under a different (and again more personal) name. I hope you enjoy the beauty of this remote and gorgeous place!
The original painting was sold by commission.
