'Burghead Harbour from the Sea Wall'
Looking back on the 'Old Broch' from the sea wall, across the harbour. Burghead is still a busy harbour, and a beautiful one at that! Here, I wanted to capture the tranquility of the port in the morning sun. The grassy area at left is the remains of the old Pictish Fort, which is where the town gets both its name, and its nickname from. (Both Burghead and 'The Old Broch' are descriptive in appropriate languages!).
